This blog belongs to Mr de Been’s and Mrs de Vries’ Grade 2 classes at Leopold Primary School near Geelong, Victoria, Australia.
We share a large double room with folding doors, which may be open and closed depending upon the activity.
There are more than 700 students at our school on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. Leopold sits on top of a hill and overlooks Corio Bay and the granite peaks of You Yangs in the distance. It is a short drive to the open ocean.

Dear 2DD & 2MD,
Your video was wonderful!
We noticed that you have a humungous field, and you have many people in your school.
Our school has about 600 students, and your school has about 800 students.
Do you like playing bamboo?
Regards,
Quynh-Anh and Nicole from Mrs. Ranney’s Class

Hi!2dd and 2md,
My favorite things that we did last term were going to Narana and throwing the boomerang. I liked Narana because it was very interesting and I liked throwing the boomerang because I had never seen one being thrown before and I have never done it. I failed though.

Hi Presley,
Don’t be too hard on yourself. We didn’t fail. There were just some people who did a better job than us!
